When did you first join AAM?
Both of my kids worked as lifeguards and I started going to ARPD lap swim to see them. Eventually, I wanted more pool time. I joined AAM in December 2020. My daughter Hazel joined me for my first morning practice at Emma Hood. I clung to the wall of the diving well like a cat. What is your occupation/what do you do when you're not on deck? I am an advertising copywriter. I used to write television and radio commercials. Now I write emails and landing pages for a global fintech company. I met my husband working on a Doritos TV Super Bowl spot starring Chevy Chase. What is your favorite stroke/distance/set? I love IM sets. I am happiest hearing the phrases "in IM order" or "in reverse IM order." What is your favorite activity out of the pool? Walking my dog, Ruth. Something you didn't know about me... I started the local bike rental business Pedal Beach. And... On Tuesday nights you can usually find me at the Alameda Theater $5 night with Coach Nicky. We don't go together but we talk about movies at Saturday practice with Christina. |
